Events Monday March 12th Drugs: When Fun is in the Rear View Mirror 7pm in AM250 Talk on the dangers of use and how to spot the warning signs, followed by Screening of Trainspotting, refreshments provided. Tuesday March 13th What to do about the Elephant in the Room 7pm in G019 Human Biology Building  Talk with Guy Jones, a senior chemist with The Loop a UK harm reduction charity, providing a drug testing and counselling service who have been checking drugs for festival attendees in the UK for the past couple of years and working behind the scenes with organisers, police, and medical teams. Refreshments provided Don’t Get Pegged 9pm Sult Drink spiking awareness at Sult Wednesday March 14th Kindling Ideas  7pm in G019 Human Biology Building  Panel discussion with guests including Guy Jones (The Loop), Gda. PJ Noone (Galway Divisional Drugs Unit), Neil Wilson (WRDATF Education Support Worker), Prof John Kelly. Head of Pharmacology and Therapeutics in NUI Galway.  Don’t get Pegged 9pm Sult Drink spiking awareness at Sult Thursday March 15th Students For Sensible Drug Policy: EGM 4pm Meeting Room 2, Aras na Mac Leinn Poster Competition Design a poster the topic is ‘Drug and Alcohol Promoting Harm Reduction’ with slogan 1st Prize: 100 euro 2nd 50 euro & 2 x 25 euro.
