CUMAS Society (New)

A fun social space for students with disabilities and their allies. Cumas Society supports the Hybrid Model of disability activism which combines the medical and social models to create a more inclusive form of disability activism which acknowledges both the medical and social impacts of disability.

Our aims:

To create a safe and inviting social space for students experiencing any physical, intellectual or mental disability, and their allies.
To engage with organisations and charities that gives back to our communities
To endeavour to hold accessible and inclusive events for all members of the society
To foster opportunities for students to have a voice on issues that have a significant impact on their lives and wellbeing.
