Bioinformatics Society

A society for all interested in the wonderful world of bioinformatics!

Our goal is to provide a space for those interested in bioinformatics, from 1st year undergrads to postgrads alike, to learn more about the field and to socialise with like-minded people! We host talks by bioinformatics researchers on their work, table quizzes in support of good causes, and social events

We love to support the Folding@Home project, an open source software which enables scientists and citizens to work together to run simulations

Note: The bioinformatics society was formally known as the protein folding society

Meetings

We have committee meetings weekly with special events such as research talks, tutorials, film screenings, fundraisers, table quizzes and social nights regularly! Follow our Instagram to keep up to date :)
