The award winning poet Chad Norman is coming to NUIG writers society for one night only. He is the winner of the BC Writers’ Poetry contest and the Gwendolyn MacEwan Memorial Award. His presentation centers around a celebration of certain Canadian poets he has been influenced by, and a reading of poems which pay tribute to those poets. He also touches a bit on the gift of Literacy and the importance of reading poems aloud. There will be a question and answer session at the end. Also poets from our own society are free to read on the night when given the chance. The event will take place in AC215 from 7pm-9pm
