Hi everyone. We are so excited to announce our first 2-part Kombucha brewing workshop! The first workshop will take place on Wednesday 29th January and will begin with a seminar from one of All About Kombucha's co-founders Emmett Kerrigan in the Dunican Lecture Theatre at 5pm (downstairs in the biochemistry wing of the concourse). This will be followed by a hands-on workshop where he will assist us to make our very own Kombucha! This will need to ferment for 9 days and on Friday the 7th of February we will meet again to decorate your very own Kombucha bottles (all materials will be provided) and to personalise the flavour of your Kombucha in the McCay Library (downstairs microbiology corridor). You will then bring your bottles home and we will guide you through how to care for them until they are ready to enjoy! Tickets for this two part workshop are €5 and are available to purchase on the societies webstore, there are only 4 places left so make sure to get yours as soon as possible! If you miss out don't worry, as the seminar on Wednesday the 29th is free to attend to anyone (ticket or not) and we will run the workshop again in the future for anyone who didn't manage to get a ticket.
