Afrofest, presented by NUIG ACS, features Drama, Dancing, Poetry/spoken words, Music, Fashion and surplus amount of delicious food from the Caribbeans and Africa. The aim of the Afrofest is to promote and celebrate the African/Caribbean culture through numerous activities. It is also to educate non African/Caribbean people about the culture and try to bridge the gap of misunderstanding and misconception of the African/Caribbean culture through fun,laughter and music. This events caters for everyone from different background to which can range from Irish individuals to Pakistani to Asian and many more.
