Mr Burns (A Post Electric Play) written by Anne Washburn and directed by Chloe Naomi will be running from the 21st of February to the 24th of February in the Bank of Ireland Theatre! Mr Burns (A Post Electric Play) is an imaginative dark comedy that propels us forward nearly a century. Following a new civilization stumbling into its future after the collapse of civilization, a group of survivors share a campfire and begin to piece together the plot of The Simpsons episode "Cape Feare" entirely from memory. Seven years later, this and other snippets of pop culture (sitcom plots, commercials, and jingles) have become the live entertainment of a post-apocalyptic society, sincerely trying to hold onto its past. Seventy-five years later, we find ourselves in a post apocalyptic Simpsons musical full of adventure, suspense and disbelief. Mr. Burns will bring you on a rollercoaster of emotion. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will reinvigorate your love for The Simpsons so you won't want to miss it!
