Exit the King, directed by Andreea Gălăteanu is an absurdist adaptation of a play by Eugene Ionesco that tells the story of a king dying with his own country. With Eastern European influences, the play goes into depth on what does truly mean to die? How do we cope with dying if it means the disappearance of everything around us? Told in a way which emphasizes the problem Eastern Europe faces nowadays, the play combines the old with the new, the West with the East making it one singular and unique medium, through art. 7th - 10th of November in the BOI Theatre, doors at 7:30 with an 8pm start.
