Join us on the 6th of April at 6 pm as we hear from Jessamyn Fairfield about her journey as a woman in STEM. Jessamyn is a lecturer in the School of Physics, as well as the director of Bright Club Ireland, the research/comedy variety night. She leads a research group in nanomaterials, physics education, and public engagement, and is an award-winning science communicator, comedian, and improviser. She has also been involved in organising outreach and advocacy initiatives such as Soapbox Science and March for Science. Jessamyn has been to the Arctic on a science/art residency, the Antarctic as part of a women in STEM leadership program. Hope you can join us at this event next week!
