I know everyone is getting themselves worked up into a frenzy preparing for exams and finishing assignments but it i s important to keep you long term plans and goals in mind and that's why This event should be of special interest to anyone considering or already undertaking to become a teacher or working in some other educational role after they finish their studies here. Especially given recent attempts to remove the study of history from the curriculum in Irish schools it is important that anyone looking to work directly or indirectly in the field is well informed on the changing environment and challenges surrounding historic education today.
