The aims of the society are to empower women, build a community, solidify an ally-ship and to believe in ourselves and each other. Women in Law aims to ensure that women feel heard and represented. We want to inspire and support women and our allies on their paths into law by creating opportunities to further our passions and to raise awareness of opportunities available.
As a society, we value community, enthusiasm, self-fulfilment, respect and justice. We will work to dispel any practice of discrimination or hate.
As a society, we have weekly committee meetings and host a variety of events each semester for all our members, often in collaboration with the other legal societies at University of Galway.
