Welcome To ROCK SOC.
ROCK SOC provides a positive environment for musicians and fans of alternative music and culture. ROCK SOC is dedicated to promoting original student bands and performers, and cover bands too. We want you bands so we can showcase you on NUI Galway’s campus and throughout the city. We provide equipment and facilities for these bands to practice and develop their skills and sound. We host gigs in conjunction with established event organizers and performers in venues around Galway city and on campus at NUIG, giving our members access to a wide variety of events and styles that are constantly happening. We give our bands and performers a platform for exposure to develop their fan base. We also host special “one-off†events of a varied theme and nature, pertaining to the wishes and desires of our members. Here is our constitution.
