Our society is all about books! Throughout the year we will read books, discuss books, have quizzes, themed nights, discussion nights, quiet reading sessions and more! There is no exclusive genre - whether you're a fantasy or sci-fi nerd, a lover of romance, a YA fan, or a horror buff, we guarantee there will be something for you in our Society! Variety is the spice of life, who knows, maybe you'll step out of your literary comfort zone.
Everyone is more than welcome to join at any time - We love seeing new faces at our events and are very proud of the welcoming attitude and atmosphere our amazing members create! Don't feel as if you have to be at every event or been there from the start - we know how busy college can get.
We don't expect our members to read every book we suggest, as long as you share our love for literature and the written word, you're already winning!
We have chill literary themed meetings once a week - come chat and discuss your favourite / current reads and get some new recommendations! We usually have events every Monday at 7 pm, our calendar will be updated in advance and all our events are publicised on our social media beforehand.
