We aim to support and inspire medical students interested in surgery by providing hands-on learning experiences and educational opportunities. Whether you’re passionate about becoming a surgeon or simply curious to explore the field, join us at our events and workshops to develop valuable skills for your future medical career!
Our Events
Our flagship event, the Surgical Skills Workshop, is held biannually and offers students the opportunity to learn essential techniques, including knot tying and basic suturing. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice using our laparoscopy simulators and get a feel for minimally invasive surgery! Throughout the year, we also organize fundraising events, including bake sales and trivia nights, providing members with a chance to get involved, support important causes, and connect with fellow students!
Career Insights
Another highlight of our calendar is the Surgical Career Night, where surgeons from various specialties share insights into their training paths and day-to-day practice. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of surgical careers. We’re also planning more exciting talks and events throughout the year, so stay tuned for updates!
