Charity Week Football Tournament, in aid of Islamic Relief.

When: Tuesday 3rd of November 2026. Teams arrive at 5pm, kick-off 5:15pm.
Where: Corrib Village football cages, University of Galway (exact pitch to be confirmed).
Who: open to everyone, students and non-students.

Format: squads of 5 plus 1 sub, up to 8 teams in 2 groups of 4, then semi-finals and a final. Group games are 10 minutes, knockouts 12.

How to sign up:
Teams: the captain buys all 6 tickets in one order. The captain must include name and ID of players and make sure they are aware of the rules and agreed to adheer topthem.
Free agents: buy 1 ticket and we will place you in a team.

Please wear a black shirt. Tickets close Sunday 1 November. No payment on the day.

By signing up you are agreeing to the following rules

Members must:

• Be aware of the hazards involved

• Must not jeopardise your own health & safety or that of others.

• Must follow instructions given by event leader/referee

• Must attend any training provided.

• Must inform officers or leaders of any medical condition that may affect your ability to participate, or affect emergency first aid treatment.

• You are responsible for making an informed decision as to whether it is a suitable activity for you.

• Strictly no alcohol

• Ensure in the event of receiving medical treatment that you are 100% satisfied that you have received all the medical treatment you require before being discharged.

• Note you are not covered by personal accident insurance so make sure you take care when playing to avoid injury.

• Must wear suitable clothes and footwear.

• Make sure you warm up and cool down.
