Join us for "From Biology to AI: How Computing Is Changing the Way We Do Science" with Dr Annabelle Nwaokorie, bioinformatician from Accenture and STEM Creator, as she explores how coding, AI and increasingly powerful computing tools are changing the way we approach biological research

The Bioinformatics society are proud to host Dr Annabelle Nwaokorie for her talk "From Biology to AI: How Computing Is Changing the Way We Do Science". Dr Nwaokorie is a bioinformatician at Accenture with a PhD in computational cancer research. She has amassed a following of over 300,000 across her social media platforms as 'ThePhDStudent', documenting her journey from not knowing how to code at the beginning of her PhD to graduating and transitioning outside of academia. 

The talk will be held on the 28th of September at 6 30 pm in the McMunn Theatre, University of Galway. All students and staff are welcome.
