Join us in the 25th of October for our first trip of the year! First we will be heading to a viewing platform near Dublin airport for a plane spotting photoshoot and then we will be heading into Dublin city for a photowalk!

We will be departing University of Galway, at approx 8:30 am from the orbsen building, going first to Viewing Point The Mound, Old Airport Road, Dublin for 1 to 2 hours for our plane spotting shoot, then into Dublin City for our photowalk and departing Dublin City at approx. 6:00 pm back to University of Galway.

Members are required to obey the following rules .

Members must:

• Be aware of the hazards involved

• Must not jeopardise your own health & safety or that of others.

• Must follow instructions given by trip leaders and officers.

• Must attend any training provided.

• Must inform officers or trip leaders of any medical condition that may affect your ability to participate, or affect emergency first aid treatment.

• You are responsible for making an informed decision as to whether it is a suitable activity for you.

• If consuming alcohol, you must drink responsibly and in a manner which will not endanger your own safety and health and that of others.

• You must never participate in potentially hazardous physical activities while under the influence of alcohol.

• Inform yourself of, and respect, local customs and laws

• Must stay in groups of no less than 3.

• Ensure in the event of receiving medical treatment that you are 100% satisfied that you have received all the medical treatment you require before being discharged.

• Note you are covered by University Insurance for the duration of the trip, any travel outside of the trip you will need your own travel insurance.

• If driving, you will do so in a safe and responsible manner.

• Members must implement the buddy system and make sure the other 3 appointed are present and safe and ready to get on any transport.

• Must not leave venues alone for longer than a short period of time unless for a specified purpose and notified to leaders.

• Must be ready for the program events at the appointed time and take part in programmed activities.

• You must inform the trip leader if you don’t intend to participate in any activity

• Drinking will not permitted on buses

• Must wear any protective gear provided.

• If staying in accommodation make sure your bedroom door is securely locked at all times to ensure your safety.
