AMSI will be having a First Aid Workshop with the Galway Simon Community Clients in the coming week. In addition to this, we will be having a Charity Bake Sale to raise essential funds for them.The fund raised is to provide practical assistance on an expedited basis, to allow those at risk of, or experiencing homelessness to bridge the gap between funds they have and the costs incurred in securing accommodation in the private rental market. Practical items associated with moving into a new home are supported through the fund such as bed linen, a first week’s groceries or kitchenware and rental deposits.
