Hawk Walk

Hawk Walk Experience Get ready for an unforgettable Wildlife Week adventure! Join us on Friday 6th for a hands-on Hawk Walk, while walking through beautiful woodland paths and flying a Harris Hawk under expert guidance — a truly unique, interactive experience!! We’ll meet at Kingfisher at 12.40pm and travel together by a private bus to Ashford Castle. We expect to arrive there around 1:45pm and head back at approximately 3:45pm, arriving at Kingfisher at 4:40pm Limited to 15 people – so don’t wait to grab your spot! €19 per person (includes a donation) Tickets are available on Socsbox. Link is in our bio Important Information: • Uneven Terrain: This is a hands-on experience involving a moderate walk along woodland paths with uneven ground and potential trip hazards while handling and flying a hawk • Suitable Clothing: Please wear long sleeves and closed-toe footwear appropriate for walking through forestry terrain • Food & Drink: Please bring your own water and lunch, as these will not be provided on site • No Wheels: Unfortunately, the hawks are mistrustful of anything with wheels, so wheelchairs and mobility aids cannot be accommodated at the Falconry School.
