Botany Soc are hosting the first ever Bog Week!! Starting Monday 2nd to Friday 6th of March. You can attend one of our many events this week and learn all about these wonderful landscapes, from the plants that grow there, the history we can learn from then, what we can do with them and the absolute importance of them. We'll have - A Bogland Botany talk on Tuesday A Jager Bog Workshop where you'll make your own mini bog on Wednesday The Bog and the Bee's: history lessons from the bog and pollen analysis talk on Thursday And Finally to end the week we'll be Slogging it in the Bog in Oughterard on Friday.
