Part of the Nelson Mandela Anti-Racism Week. Hosted by the ISLA Society (International Second Language Acquisition Society) Aula Maxima, Quadrangle | March 23rd | 2:00pm - 5:00pm Join us for a heartwarming event during Nelson Mandela Anti-Racism Week, where we’ll come together to foster mutual understanding between international and local Irish people, students, and leadership, and create a more compassionate community. Let’s unite as a university community to share experiences, learn from each other, and build a more inclusive and welcoming campus for all. The event will explore the challenges students face when studying abroad. Looking at supports currently in place, what if any shortfalls there are and what we as a University can improve upon to maximise the positive experience of such students. There will be an opportunity for round table discussions with the University leadership team. It is planned to have the event as inclusive as possible and hopefully to identify some positive outcomes from the event. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
