Hi everyone. Welcome back! We're starting off the academic year with a new batch of yoga classes! These classes will run for 4 weeks Location - The View, Áras na Mac Léinn (first floor) Price - €15 for students Timetable Wednesday 8am-9am (starting 14th September) : Theresa Donoughue - link here Thursday 7.30am-8.30am (starting 15th September): Lisa Berry - link here Thursday 4.00pm -5pm (starting 15th September) - Trish Connolly - link here Additional Information Arrive on time as classes will start promptly and last just under one hour. Classes require a minimum number, you will be informed if your first choice session is not going ahead and you may choose another one if there is availability or you will be reimbursed. More about the qualified teachers Theresa Hatha Yoga sessions will include posture (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana). We will begin with a sun salutation, which is a Yoga sequence of Hatha Yoga postures practised in line with the inhale and exhale of the breath. Mixed level class. Trish Bihar school of yoga: Satyananda Will introduce students to yoga postures and yogic breathing as well as an introduction to meditation and relaxation . The benefits are an improvement in physical strength and mobility , better breathing for stress relief and overall well being , improved energy, concentration and developing awareness. Suitable for all ages and levels, come on an empty stomach, wear loose warm comfortable clothing, bring a mat, and light blanket and to avoid food or stimulating drinks for at least an hour and a half beforehand. Lisa Vinyasa for All Levels: focusing on linking physical movement with the breath to calm the nervous system and centre the mind.
