    University of Galway took home seven awards at the Board of Irish Societies (BICS) Awards in the Clayton Hotel, Galway last night April 11th. This was more than any other college at the event and makes the University the overall winner of more awards since the inception of the event in 1996.     Socs Ents CrewWe will be recruiting an Ents/Well Crew in August who will work with the SocsBox on large events and also in the Hub. These opportunities are for current students who have the availability to work mostly evenings/nights  and some weekends and also some daytime availabity for the large events. We plan to have the Hub kitchen open until 9pm Monday - Thursday so that societies have the opportunity to prepare their own food for their events, or to come over to the Hub after their events for food/refreshments.
