Please join us as we collab with Maths Soc and Irish Global Health Network Society to welcome Professor John Newell. Professor Newell is part of our own School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences here in the University of Galway.  His primary areas of research in Biostatistics are in the theory and application of statistical methods in clinical trials of health service and population health interventions and in the development of novel analytic approaches in Sports and Exercise Science.

Please join us as Professor Newell will discuss various projects he has undertook during his time working with various teams which include Newcastle United, Toronto Raptors and the Minnesota Vikings
