Relay for Life Virtual Edition

Relay for Life is a fundraising event held on behalf of the Irish Cancer Society. The event is grounded in the motto "Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back", as we celebrate cancer survivors, remember the loved ones we have lost and fight back by raising as much money as possible for the charity.

COVID-19 is not going to stop us and this year we University College Cork, Trinity College Dublin and National University of Ireland, Galway, are teaming up to organise an unforgettable online edition of Relay for Life. The event will take place on the 14th of April between 1pm and 8pm. Teams are encouraged to relay and fundraise during this time, while there will be live stream on YouTube providing music, entertainment, and candle of light ceremonies.

Each university will take over the live stream for an hour, with music playing the remainder of the time. The live stream will take the following format:

• 1pm – 2pm: UCC Live Stream
• 4pm – 5pm: NUIG Live Stream
• 7pm – 8pm: TCD Live Stream

We would love for you to participate in the event and play a part in fundraising for the Irish Cancer Society during these strange times!
